DESIGN & PERFORMANCE

Look beyond
the design point.

The HVAC brochure emphasises hydraulic efficiency over the preferred operating range, not only at a single nominal duty.

It describes CFD-supported hydraulic design and attention to leakage, disc-friction and mechanical losses. Efficiency verification is described with reference to HI-40.6 in the manufacturer test laboratory.

  • Define the actual duty range and operating hours
  • Review high suction or casing working-pressure requirements
  • Consider available space and the required flange orientation
  • Discuss retrofit or replacement constraints before selection

PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY

A better starting point
for pump selection.

Include the hydraulic duty and the installation conditions. Working pressure, liquid temperature and available space are important parts of the enquiry.

01

Hydraulic requirements

Required flow, differential head, expected operating range, liquid composition and temperature.

02

Mechanical arrangement

Horizontal or vertical layout, suction pressure, casing pressure requirement, flange standard, seal and material needs.

03

Drive & project scope

50 or 60 Hz, motor supply, any variable-speed requirement, quantity, drawings and the planned installation date.
